Private Lessons and Ensembles
Private Music Lessons at Live Music Center bring your talents to life
Live Music Center provides students with instructors who can help you learn and thrive, from casual beginners to college and professional bound musicians
- All students have performance opportunities at least twice a year in our fall and spring recitals
- $150 per month fee includes four 30-minute private lessons every month
- 30-minute private lessons are available every afternoon through closing daily, however, some morning classes are available
- $10 per month discount if you enroll in our AutoPay program
- Free music theory classes are included with monthly private lesson package. If you are not enrolled in private lessons, the cost is $180/10-week course
- Private lesson students receive discounts on store merchandise and instruments
Group Lessons and Ensembles
ROCK BAND - New Spring Session starts Jan 18th, 2026!
Junior Rock Band (ages 8 - 12) Sundays 11:00am - 12:20pm
Teen Rock Band (ages 13-18) Sundays 12:30 - 1:45
Extra rehearsals may also be added on some Thursdays at 7pm

Solano County's original, locally grown rock program! Your musician will gain musical prowess and self confidence while working with coaches and peers in a weekly rock band rehearsal. Students need to have some experience on their instrument (we like a minimum of 1 or 2 years), and be able to work comfortably in a group setting. Call us to register, or fill out the inquiry below. $150 / 12 week session
LMC JAZZ COMBO
For musicians ages 12 and up with a minimum of two years experience on their instruments, the LMC Jazz Combo, The Licks, plays a variety of swing, funk, Latin, and rock tunes in an environment that encourages you to get outside of your musical comfort bubble. Directed by Megan Tucker, an accomplished saxophone player and instructor, with more than 20 years teaching experience.
- Open to saxophones, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, and flute, as well as drums, bass, guitar, and piano
- Students should have at least 3 major scales memorized, and be comfortable reading all the notes on the staff, as well as quarter note and eighth note rhythms
- Rehearsals Sundays 3:00 - 4:00pm at Live Music Studios
- $25 per month, with multiple performances throughout the year
