SWING INTO IMPROV CAMP

Step into the world of jazz improvisation! For musicians eager to explore the art of soloing, this camp offers a supportive environment to conquer fears and unlock creative potential. For musicians ages 12 and up, who have knowledge of scales and can read basic sheet music or chord charts.

AUDIO RECORDING AND MIXING
Monday - Friday 10am to 12pm, June 17th - 21st
Embark on your journey into the world of audio recording and mixing at our beginner's camp! Learn the fundamentals of sound engineering, from setting up microphones to mixing tracks like a pro. For ages 12 and up

JUNIOR ROCK CAMP
Monday - Friday 10am - 12:30pm, June 24th - 28th
For musicians ages 8 to 12 with some experience on their instrument, this rock camp is a super fun experience! Ends with a live performance. Musicians rehearse together, gain confidence in their stage presence, and learn the basics of being part of a rock band!
$160 / five day session
SONGWRITING WORKSHOP
Monday-Friday 10am - 12pm, July 8th - 12th
Get your songwriting kicked into high gear by learning about song form, chord progressions, lyric writing, melody, and some nice tricks to help avoid writer's block!
For ages 10 and up, instrumental experience and note reading not necessary!

TEEN ROCK CAMP
Monday - Friday 9:30am - 1:30pm, July 15th - 26th, with performance on Sunday July 28th @ 3pm
Our original and still most popular rock band camp! Open to musicians ages 13 to 20 with a minimum of 2 years experience on their instrument. Musicians rehearse together, learn to work together as a band, go over concepts such as sound reinforcement, stage dress, and performance techniques, all while gaining confidence in this rigorous but fun camp. The camp ends with a performance on the big stage at Journey Downtown. Register soon, because spots fill up fast!
